This Autumn has proven successful at HAS Technology, after being shortlisted for multiple awards.
The annual Health Tech awards recognise and celebrate the greatest technology and innovation across the health and care sector. HAS Technology are proud to have been selected not once but twice to join this year’s finalists.
The PAMMS market insight tool, used by many local authorities to support data collection and reporting, has been selected for the ‘Partnership of the Year’ category.
The awards submission showcased how PAMMS was quickly deployed by London ADASS to collect specific, essential and regular data in light of the COVID-19 crisis, with the launch of the London ADASS Market Insight Tool.
London ADASS benefited greatly by using the market insight tool to gather data across homecare, bed-based, LD and mental health services. The collaborative nature of the work allowed oversight of out of borough placements, and critically allowed the London Fire Brigade to deliver PPE to those most in need especially during times of this pandemic. It was also used by the London School of Economics for data modelling.
Speaking of the recent shortlisting, Ben Chance, Head of PAMMS at HAS Technology said:
“We’re thrilled that the critical work we undertook with London ADASS has been included within this year’s Health Tech and National Technology Awards shortlist. Everyone involved in this initiative had to pull out all the stops to deliver in the most challenging circumstances. We are very proud that this work is being recognised for its positive impact in the health and social care sector”.
ARMED has had a spectacular year in terms of awards recognition and has been selected for the ‘Best Health Tech Solution of the Year’ award.
Throughout this pandemic, ARMED has played a vital role in terms of falls prevention, encouraging self-management and allowing health professionals to identify at-risk individuals from afar.
The wearable technology brings benefits to individuals, their families, care providers and the wider community. ARMED allows people to live independently at home for as long as possible and has the potential to reduce hospital admissions.
Brian Brown, Director of ARMED at HAS Technology also spoke out about the shortlist announcement;
“It is motivating to see that our continuing dedication and the efforts of our ARMED team are being recognised. It is a huge achievement to be included within the Best Health Tech Solution of the Year shortlist”.
“Our main objective at ARMED has always been to improve the life of individuals and help them to age well with the assistance of wearable technology and AI. It is great to see the care sector embrace the potential of digital transformation tools”.
PAMMS has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the National Technology Awards in the ‘Digital Transformation of the Year’ category. The National Technology Awards are the most comprehensive celebration of technology in the year, organised by National Technology News.
The Health Tech Awards ceremony will announce the winners on the 22nd October 2020. Winners of the National Technology Awards will be announced on 30th November 2020.
