HAS ready for ADASS Summer Virtual Conference

HAS Technology is delighted to be a supporter of the ADASS Summer Conference, being hosted virtually for 2020.

Following the disappointment that ADASS Spring Seminar 2020 had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 HAS Technology is now delighted to be a supporter of the ADASS Summer Conference, being hosted virtually.

Commencing on Wednesday 22 July, the two-day event will feature a thought-provoking programme of speakers and topics, bringing together the most senior managers and directors in social care to discuss priorities for 2020-21. The sessions will focus on the reform of adult social care through the lens of renewal after Covid-19.

On the second day of the event (Thursday 23 July), HAS Technology will be delivering a workshop ‘Using market insight to identify risks and ensure sustainable, quality services during Covid-19 and into the ‘new normal’.’

The workshop will focus on how LondonADASS were able to quickly repurpose technology they already had in place to digitise collection and collation of health and social care data to help manage risks on a daily basis across all care settings, using HAS Technology’s PAMMS software – and how this market insight will continue to help going forwards.

The session will also shine a light on the work being done with ADASS East to transform their Provider quality assessment and monitoring process to allow for remote deployment. And we’ll be launching the new HAS Technology white paper ‘How can dynamic use of social care technology support the ‘new normal’’.

Our head of PAMMS, Ben Chance, will be joined by a prestigious line up of industry leaders to deliver the workshop and Q&A session. These include:

  • Phil Porter, Strategic Director for Community Wellbeing, Brent Council
  • Terry Sutton, Head of Commissioning and Health Integration, Sutton Council
  • Tristan Brice, Programme Manager, LondonADASS
  • Iain MacBeath, Director of Adult Care Services, Hertfordshire County Council
  • Guy Petengell, Regional Strategic Procurement Manager, ADASS East
  • Helena Zaum, Industry Solutions Manager, Microsoft

The event is hosted on a virtual platform and open to ADASS members and nominated colleagues. To register your place, visit https://www.eventsforce.net/adass/frontend/reg/tRegisterEmailNew.csp?pageID=4189&ef_sel_menu=83&eventID=11&tempPersonID=38870
