As part of our commitment to supporting customers, communities and vulnerable people, we were pleased to recently sponsor Staffordshire County Council’s Dignity in Care Awards.
The virtual awards aimed to recognise excellence in care in Staffordshire and how dignity in care has been brought to the forefront.
As part of the event, HAS Technology donated shopping vouchers which were used as prizes for the awards. Award categories included Volunteer Dignity Champion, Professional Dignity Champion and Supported Living Dignity Champion.
Speaking of the event, Staffordshire County Council reported: “We want a care system where there is a zero tolerance approach to the abuse of, and disrespect towards, people who use care services.
“We hope this will give dignity in care the attention it deserves and also inspire people to take action.”
HAS Technology has continually innovated to meet the changing needs of the social care market.
Mark Kennion at HAS Technology, added: “Having worked with Staffordshire County Council for many years, and now also having our head office based in the county, we are delighted to continue supporting the Dignity in Care Awards. This important initiative promotes quality care for vulnerable people and we send our congratulations to all winners.”
