ARMED falls prevention technology goes global

Our revolutionary falls prevention technology is going global and has been deployed for the first time in Australia, where Victoria’s Mansfield District Hospital has commenced an initial 6-month project using ARMED to predict and prevent falls among its residential and community aged care clients.

Our revolutionary falls prevention technology is going global and has been deployed for the first time in Australia, where Victoria’s Mansfield District Hospital has commenced an initial 6-month project using ARMED to predict and prevent falls among its residential and community aged care clients. Combining artificial intelligence and data analytics, the technology is helping identify and predict when an individual is at risk of having a fall and indicating data trends and areas of statistical significance and concern.

Mansfield District Hospital CEO, Cameron Butler, says the Australian-first roll-out puts the Hospital at the forefront of proactive care using this innovative technology. “We are proactively seeking to address improved well-being and independence through falls prevention and are excited to be the first health service in Australia to use ARMED.”
