ARMED stands for Advanced Risk Modelling for Early Detection.
ARMED utilises wearable technology to collect key metrics associated with frailty and risk of falling, including low grip strength, hydration levels, low heart rate and heart rate variabilities. The wearable devices used can be easily monitored and measured from the comfort of an individual’s home.
Using this data, predictive analytics flag up any issues that may need intervention.
ARMED empowers individuals with data to allow self-management as well as ensuring healthcare professionals are alerted to potential issues.
A streamlined version of ARMED is also available for remote deployment to support over-stretched care services monitor escalating risks from afar.
